    ProCon Technologies is uniquely qualified to help maximize the mill's profitability and performance.  This is accomplished by minimizing variability throughout the process.  Reducing variability allows tighter control limits and enables faster production rates and higher profit margins.  While ProCon Technologies is primarily a Process Control company, their many years of expertise allow them to troubleshoot process related problems.  It is the fundamental belief of ProCon Technologies that unless the Process is understood, it can not be controlled effectively.  For this reason, all ProCon optimization efforts involve developing a model of the process to be controlled.  All tuning that is accomplished is based on these underlying process models.  ProCon uses a systems approach to all optimization efforts which requires at looking at not only the control loops of interest but also surrounding loops.  Almost every control loop in a Pulp and Paper mill affects another loop.  In order to optimize the entire system it is important to take a macroscopic view.  ProCon Technologies has the capability to offer not only the recommendations but also the solution.
